New Teaching Series — A Place at the Table (For You!) Beginning Sunday, October 1

Likely Paul’s earliest letter, Galatians, is often called a “Reformation Book.” Martin Luther called it “My Catherine” (his wife). Sadly, this has led to a great misinterpretation and misunderstanding of what Galatians is all about. The reformers read Galatians in light of the abuses of the Roman Catholic Church in the Sixteenth Century. They missed its major theme, along with many Bible teachers, since that time. I was one of them.

The message of Galatians could not be more relevant for the church in our day. It replaces “No, you can’t” Christianity with its ever-shrinking circles with a “Yes, you can!” faith where everyone has a place at the table.
